About Us:

Genesis Home Improvement, LLC is a family-owned company that provides customized home improvement services to clients throughout northern Virginia.

Mark’s father, the late George B. Jenkins Sr. was a well-respected roofer in northern Virginia. Mark continues his father’s vision by providing top quality construction, honest pricing and superior customer service.

Our Name:

Our company name is derived from the first book of the Bible, Genesis. Genesis 1:1 states, “In the beginning, God Created.” GHI, LLC was founded on the principle of creating new beginnings for our customers. As owners, Mark and Kim found themselves given the chance to have a new beginning in their lives and want to share the experience with customers through their home renovation projects. Mark was raised in northern Virginia and currently resides in Fauquier County with his wife and four children.

Certifications:

Company Vice President Mark Jenkins has worked in the home construction business since 1982. Mark is certified in many areas of the building profession including those listed below. He holds certifications through The Building Performance Institute (BPI) and The National Center for Construction Education and Research, (NCCER). Additionally, Mark is a Wellborn authorized contractor as well as a certified through GAF.
